53 members of GIZ GOIS gathered on March 11, 2025, for the 18th extraordinary session of the GOIS assembly. The assembly unanimously approved the past work as well as the work plan and activities. Discussions covered current development projects, trade fair activities, and strategic collaborations.
The assembly also unanimously approved a new founding agreement for GIZ GOIS, which consolidates the previous agreement and the association’s statute in accordance with the law. Special attention was given to the challenges posed by restrictions imposed by commercial banks, which complicate financing and business operations for companies in the defense industry.
Additionally, there was a discussion on the importance of a positive media image and how to communicate with the professional public in a way that enhances the industry’s reputation. The session also included the introduction of new GIZ GOIS members.
