The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia, the Slovenian Armed Forces, and the Defence Industry Cluster of Slovenia are organizing the first International Defence Industry Fair and Conference SIDEC 2025, which will take place from October 21 to 24, 2025 at the Celje Fair venue.

As organizers, we are responding to the outcome of geopolitical changes and current security challenges that the Republic of Slovenia has addressed.

The event will showcase the most important technological solutions developed through research activities under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia and include a two-day professional conference. The latter will cover four thematic areas: cybersecurity , future technologies , energy efficiency and resilience , and artificial intelligence .

The purpose of the conference is to demonstrate the significance of these topics for the further development of the defence and security system, as well as the protection and rescue system. Additionally, individual panels will address new paradigms that guide the future development of defence technologies.
