The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia has published a public call for participation in research, development and innovation (RDI) activities aimed at increasing the technical and technological capabilities of the defence system of the Republic of Slovenia.

The call represents an important opportunity for Slovenian companies and research organizations to engage in the development of advanced solutions and contribute to strengthening the national defense system.

Purpose and objectives of the call:

• strengthening the capabilities of the Slovenian Armed Forces and the protection, rescue and assistance system
• increasing the development capabilities and competitiveness of the Slovenian defense industry
• promoting cooperation between companies and research institutions
• ensuring a reliable supply of defense products

Who can apply?
Public and private companies and research organizations based in Slovenia that meet the prescribed conditions can apply for the call.

Application deadline:
April 7, 2026 at 12:00 noon

The call opens up opportunities for cooperation in strategic development projects that will significantly impact the future development of defense technologies and the competitiveness of the Slovenian economy.
