In an interview with Boštjan Skalar, director of the Defence Industry Cluster of Slovenia (GOIS), we reveal how Slovenian companies are successfully entering European defence projects. GOIS connects more than 100 companies that together generate a billion euros in revenue.

Slovenia has the knowledge and potential to develop advanced defense products: high-performance electric enduro motorcycles, remotely controlled weapon stations, six-wheeled hybrid vehicles, advanced drone and anti-drone systems, simulation and training systems, directed energy air defense weapons, firearms for civilian and military use, and surveillance and monitoring systems.

Many opportunities are also opening up for small and family businesses, which, with their flexibility, can quickly respond to new market needs and European defense partnerships.
