Today, an event called “Slovenian Industry Day with French Thales Group” was organized at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia premises, co-organized with the institution SPIRIT, the Chamber of Commerce, and GOIS. Representatives from Thales, the Ministry of Defence, SBRA, and Slovenian businesses were present. The business segment also included many companies that are members of our GOIS association. At this event, we were first greeted by Thales representatives, followed by a warm welcome from the French Ambassador, Ms. Florence Levy. This was followed by greetings from Mr. Kralj from the General Directorate for Logistics at the Ministry of Defence, and Mr. Miklavčič, Chairman of our Supervisory Board, also welcomed us. Mr. Primožič, Director of the association, gave a brief presentation on the association’s operations, and Mr. Ilijaš, Director of Arctur company, successfully presented a detailed overview of R&D (research and development) operations in our companies during the continuation of this event. At the end, individual Slovenian companies met with Thales representatives in B2B meetings, with the aim of presenting their companies in detail and exploring options for future cooperation with Thales.
