The Women and Girls in Science 2024 (NATO)
This year, the NATO Science and Technology Organisation is organising the “Women and Girls in Science 2024” (WGS24) challenge, aimed at female students and early-career researchers (up to 30 years old).
The aim of the WGS24 challenge is to inspire young women to pursue studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to bring more diversity to these disciplines.
The challenge begins on February 8, 2024, in celebration of the United Nations’ Day of Women and Girls in Science 2024 (February 11, 2024), with a call for research proposals. Shortlisted participants will attend the challenge final at NATO Headquarters (HQ) (Brussels, Belgium) on May 30, 2024.
