One of the selected border security solutions providers for Frontex is DAT-CON, a manufacturer of sensor and laser electronics that designs and manufactures useful devices for preventing smuggling or illegal entry. In strengthening national borders, DAT-CON has developed numerous multi-sensor systems and command and control software that allows border patrols to collect and analyze data from a single point – the SOVA observation system. DAT-CON collaborates with leaders in many parallel market areas, such as optics, thermal imaging, and communications, to provide comprehensive coastal and land border surveillance.

DAT-CON has received numerous European and international awards for outstanding equipment development and integration. It has made the greatest contribution to the standards of the Schengen visa obligation.
