GOIS Member Companies Sign Contracts and Letter of Intent for Cooperation with Ministry of Defence
Two contracts and a letter of intent for multiple research, development, and investment projects with clusters of Slovenian companies were signed today at the Ministry of Defence.
The Ministry of Defence expects the research and development project named Mangart-25 to be completed within 24 months of contract signing, to be fully executed by a consortium of Slovenian companies including ASH, Guardiaris, Carboteh Technologies, Leokom, and Ljubljana-based Valhalla Turrets as the lead company.
Additionally, State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Dr. Damir Črnčec and Arctur CEO Tomi Ilijaš signed a contract for the procurement of an unmanned aerial vehicle with nuclear, radiological, chemical, and biological (CBRN) capabilities. This project involves Slovenian companies C-Astral, Mil Sistemika, IOS, Onedrone, and Nova Gorica-based Arctur as the lead company in the Slovenian consortium.
Finally, Minister of Defence Marjan Šarec and TECES Association Director Matej Gajzer, MSc., signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the Maribor-based TECES association in implementing the European INDY project. This project involves the Universities of Ljubljana and Maribor along with Kolektor Setup company.
