Slovenia strives for the consistent implementation of international restrictions on arms trade and sensitive technologies. It participates in agreements such as the Arms Trade Treaty and the Wassenaar Arrangement, thereby contributing to greater transparency, security, and respect for human rights.

Dual-use goods refer to goods, software, and technology that can be used for both civilian and military purposes. Dual-use goods are civilian goods generally intended for civilian use, but due to their properties or technical characteristics, they can also be used for military purposes.
