Approval for the Production of Military Weapons and Equipment encompasses the right to produce military weapons and equipment, as well as essential components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies of military weapons and equipment, depending on the type and scope of the approval, which can be obtained based on an application.

A Trade License encompasses the right to sell, mediate in sales, export, and import military weapons and equipment, depending on the type and scope of the license, and can be obtained based on an application.

A License for a Single Transaction in Trade in Defense Products enables export, import, transit, temporary export, temporary import, or brokerage in trade in defense products with non-EU member states.

The extension of validity of a license for temporary export/import of military weapons or equipment is possible based on an application.

Notification of Announced Transfer of Defense Products Across a Border Crossing: A legal or natural person who has obtained a license for a single transaction must notify the Ministry of Defense of this with an application at least three days before the arrival of goods at the border crossing.

General Transfer License for Defense Products: A transfer license is a special form of trade license or single transaction license that enables the transfer of defense products between EU member states.

A Global Transfer License for Defense Products is obtained by a legal or natural person based on an application for the issuance of a global transfer license for defense products.

An Individual Transfer License for Defense Products is obtained by a legal or natural person based on an application for the issuance of an individual license.

A Certificate for Receiving Defense Products confirms the reliability of the recipient of defense products in the Republic of Slovenia, particularly their ability to comply with export restrictions on defense products received under a transfer license from another EU member state. The certificate can be obtained based on an application.

Reporting on Completed Transactions or Receipt of Defense Products: A legal or natural person who has obtained a license for a single transaction, a global or individual transfer license, utilized a general transfer license, supplied defense products to member states without a transfer license, or received defense products from other member states, must, within 15 days of the transaction’s realization, send a report on the completed transaction or receipt of defense products to the Ministry of Defense. The report on the completed transaction or the report on the receipt of defense products is submitted using the form Report on Completed Transaction and Report on Receipt of Defense Products.

An International Import Certificate (IIC) is a document that may be requested from the importer in the Republic of Slovenia by the exporter from the exporting country before the export of military weapons and equipment to the Republic of Slovenia, and is obtained based on an application.

A Certificate of Delivery of Goods (Delivery Certificate – DVC) is a document that, after the import of military weapons and equipment into the Republic of Slovenia has been completed, may be requested from the importer of the goods by the exporter from the exporting country, and can be obtained based on an application.
