We are a long-time distributor of GIS (geographic information system) software developed by Esri for the territory of Slovenia. ArcGIS is a comprehensive system that among others supports defence organizations in rapid decision-making, integrating data from various sources (sensors, systems, intelligence), visualizing the operational environment and improving collaboration between units and functions. With certain extension it automates the production of cartographic products (e.g., topographic maps, ICM) and with certain software tools it maintains geodatabases, data quality control, creates standardized defence maps etc. Additional use case are terrain mobility analysis, monitoring unit readiness, identifying suitable helicopter landing zones, situational awareness during operations, use of military symbology and many others.
